Is there a way to have my iphone contacts in order by first name?

I search for people in my phone by first name but my iphone has it listed by last name first. I know that is how things are "suppose" to be in order. But I want to search people by their first name.

Is there a way to have my iphone contacts in order by first name?

In the iPhone go to settings





click on mail, Contacts, Calendars


Scroll down to Contacts and click on display order


Click on First, Last :)
