What Is a good middle name for the first name "Elle"?

I really want to name my first daughter after my favorite model Elle MacPherson, but I am having a hard time figuring out a middle name, could you please help me?

Elle Elizabeth sounds pretty to me. Makes for a neat monogram too. But make sure the initials don't spell something that can lead to bad nick names. It's hard to give advice without more information. Last names are important when choosing the first and middle names. Like if your last name starts with "L", you wouldn't want something like,Elle Elizabeth L. Her initials would be EEL. She'd be called an electric eel. Or if your last name starts with "F" you wouldn't want to go with something like Elle Lynn F. Because then she would be called elf. Now, here's a cute idea. If your last name starts with "E" give her 2 middle names that start with "L" and her initials would spell her name. Like Elle Lora Lynne E. I think that would be real neat. This is a hard one.You want the middle name to flow nicely with "Elle" and I think that a three syllable name would be best,but all I keep thinking of is "Elle Camino," like the car! Oh,and did you know that Elle's real first name is Eleanor and her middle name is Nancy? Good luck!

Reply:It depends on your last name. You need to balance the number of syllables, and the sounds. Elle is a short first name, so it goes will with a longer last name, and the middle name could be long also.

I think it is cool when a middle name starts with the sound that the first name ends with, so for Elle, how about Lynne?

You don't need a lawyer. There is paperwork to fill out from the court that you should be able to get from the courthouse. You most likely will need authorization from the father. Here, if he has paid child support within the past 2 years, he must give written consent. If no support w/i 2 yrs, then he must be notified by certified letter to his last known address. Good luck!

try this:

go to a webpage that you can activate auto fill, and when the incorrectly spelled word appears, put your curser on it to highlight the word, and hit delete button while its still high lighted in order to erase the word. then make your correction by going to a place that needs your name and type in the corrected word. auto fill should recognize the new word upon next use

I'm creating an Italian character for something I'm writing and need a good last name for the female character. Preferably something that flows with Francesca and maybe something that's not extremely common. Thanks.

I would say, it depends on the character.

You can give your character one more layer if you pick a 'regional' last name, or a last name with some history.

For instance 'De'Medici' is a tuscan last name that is associated with the Medici family, which was head of Florence (some popes were also from that family).

Last names from Veneto often end in 'n', like 'Visentin'.

Or a typical last name from Milan, could be 'Brambilla'.

If you want to go southern italian, 'Esposito' for Naples or 'Greco' for Sicily are good ones.

I think its only polite to address people properly, such as Miss Debbie, Or Madam Debbie, Or Auntie Debbie, Or Grandma Debbie...and so on. Never hurts to be a bit formal with people who are older than you. This was and still is a common practice in many cultures. We, in the Western World seem to have done away with this very important part of mannerism over the years.

Children should be told to always use Mr. or Ms. and a surname until the individual in question replies "You can call me by my first name." This rule generlly carries through to adulthood, too. Always call people in business by their surnames until directed otherwise. It's just good practice.

My friends name is Holly her middle name is Danielle. She is naming the baby Ava, but is unsure which the middle name should be. Reply:I honestly think that Michelle is the prettiest name I've ever heard for a girl. It's only two syllables and it's easy to say, yet, it's spelling makes the name unique because the CH in it is pronounced differently. I think it's a beautiful name. And by the way, congratulations!

It's not too outlandish to me, but it's definitely a name no one has either, so I think it's a good balance.

Something like, "Monroe James"... "Monroe Benjamin"...

I think it sounds distinguished.
