Do you think Keagen is a good first name for a baby? Better for a girl or a boy?

I liked the name Teagen and the name Keaten so I put them together and I love it but many people say it is weird. I would really like to know before I name my child that. Please comment.

I LOVE the name Teagan too! I like that one more for a girl though. Keaten is a really nice name! I've never heard of it before. I LOVE the name Keagan. It has a great meaning too! It means Decendent of the Firey One and is of Irish origin. I think it's great for a boy or girl, but I like it better for a boy. It sounds more masculine that feminine too me. I think that you should definately name your child that! And since it's such a great name, If you have a daughter, give her Keagan as a middle name! I like the way you spelled it too. I've only seen Teegan and Keegan like this, but I like the spelling of Keagan. It's more unique this way! Great choice!

Reply:Keagen (also spelled Keegan) is Irish and means "Descendant Of The Fiery One." I love this name and the meaning. It was previously used mostly for boys but is becoming more common for girls (with those that use Irish names at least). I would definitely use it for a girl.

i like it for a boy, it comes to mind that its a boys name first but if it were to be used for a girl i wouldnt think it was horrible, but i do like it for aboy better.
Reply:i have to say, that isd the weidest name i have ever heard of. if u really want that to name him/her it then ok, but if u do it should be for a boy, and spell it with two e's like this: Keegan, so it doesnt look weird ♥
Reply:I actually love the name and had that as a choice for one of my kids when I get older. I always felt it was more of a name for a boy. I love it though, great choice, it's unique!
