What first name goes with Lester for a boy?

My husband loves the name Lester but i'm not sure if i like it for the first name unless i find a name that flows with it.

What first name goes with Lester for a boy?
You're going to hear a lot of negativity from the Barbie dolls who think if it isn't the newest name it has cooties. They'll tell you to name the boy Liam Lancelot.

Lester is an established name so pair it with another classic. As to the flow, nobody is going to say First Middle name (unless you mean to call him Parker Lee or something). They'll say First Last or First Middle Last. Therefore pay attention to the child's last name: if it doesn't flow, then Lester might suit better as the middle. That said,

Lester William

Lester Charles

Lester Osborne.

The choices are endless. Pick a name from one of your families and DON'T NAME THE KID TRISTAN.
Reply:Lex Luther is what I thought of for some reason.

Chester Cheetah also.

The molester is a valid point also. Please ditch the name.
Reply:how about Lester Paul, so he could go by Les Paul, like the guitars? That would be cool.

other options...

Charles Lester / Lester Charles

Lester James

I like Lester (Les) Paul
Reply:anything but moe
Reply:Please reconsider because Lester is not a good name! He will get teased! Trust me. (There was a boy in my school that was really depressed. I think he switched schools now!! His name was LESTER!)

But if you don't want to, John Lester is a good idea.
Reply:Lester is a perfectly fine classic name. It's not particularly my taste, though I do like the nickname Les for a boy.

I think you should go with something traditional but still in common use for a middle name, to balance out the older first name. Think Lester Michael, Lester James, Lester Thomas, etc.
Reply:i love this name its my grandfathers name but he dosent have a middle name because theres not really any middle name to go with it.and dont listen to what people say if u and ur husband like that name 4 ur son go 4 it. and every body calls my grandfather les not less.

God bless and i hope this helps u
Reply:My Dad's name was Lester Rodney, maybe a little old fashioned these days, but just a suggestion.
Reply:What is your husband's name maybe you could call him by your husband's name with lester as a middle name. That way kids won't tease him mercillously
Reply:Oh, tell your husband people are mean. YOu have to take nicknames into consideration when naming a kid.

Lester the Molester.

Don't do it. What a horrible name to give a child.
Reply:I wouldn't give it to him as a first name. Every Lester or Chester I've ever know was at some point called Lester or Chester the molestor. I know it is stupid, but it will happen.
Reply:Please don't name your child Lester. I can hear the jeering now....It rhymes with Molester....Try and think of these things when you name your children please.
Reply:Oh, gosh, please not Lester! That's a name for great-grandparents or animated possums (anyone else seen Goofy Movie?). It's a joke of a name. And, as others have pointed out, the nickname possibilities are horrific.
Reply:josh Lester
Reply:Moe
Reply:Charles Lester

Matthew Lester

Joseph Lester

Aaron Lester
Reply:The name reminds me of being in grade school and having a bus driver named Lester.....we called him Lester Lester the child Molester.

Kids are mean. We were back then and I can guarantee that they still are today...sorry
