Why is Princess Michael of Kent addressed as Princess Michael, rather than using her own first name?

Are there any other British titles that work this way? Is she still entitled to use the title of Baroness, or did she renounce that when she was married?

Allusian fields is right. Most other women who marry princes are known by other titles (Duchess of Kent/Gloucester, Countess of Wessex, etc). Before the present Duke of Gloucester inherited his title in 1974, his wife was called Princess Richard.

This rule also applies to women who marry the younger sons of dukes and marquesses. The wives of Lord Randolph Churchill (son of the Duke of Marlborough) or Lord John Russell (son of the Duke of Bedford) were Lady Randolph Churchill and Lady John Russell. Presently, Lady Colin Campbell annoys her ex-husband by still using the title decades after their short marriage ended, but in law she is entitled to do so.
Reply:Princess Michael of Kent was not born a princess so she takes her husband's name. I believe she relinquished her title of Baroness when she married, but I'm not 100% positive.
Reply:She is not a princess in her own right, but has title only through her husband. Hence, she must use his name with the title.
Reply:Are you asking that "Michael" can't be a females name? Because it can be used as a first name for a female, have known at least one. Know that there is an acress as well.
Reply:Actually Princess Diana WAS Princess Charles.

She was, officially, Her Royal Highness The Princess Charles Philip Arthur George, Princess of Wales and Countess of Chester, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, Countess of Carrick, Baroness of Renfrew, Lady of the Isles, Princess of Scotland.

Princess Diana, which was an incorrect and non-existent title, was more or less an easy thing to say and write for the media and the press.

Diana become a princess, because her husband had the bestowed title of Prince of Wales.

Fergie was also officially Princess Andrew, however, when her husband was bestowed as a Duke, the Duchess title took precedence.

In fact, only Princess Michael of Kent is referred to in the correct manner.

The only people who can correctly be addressed as "Princess (woman's first name) is Princess Anne, Princess Margaret, etc...who are born as princesses.
