What is a good last name that sounds good with the first name Blair and the first name Alice?

I'm writing a book and I can't figure out a last name. It doesn't matter as much if it sounds good with the name Alice, but it really needs to sound good for Blair (Blair is a boy by the way) I just need a cool last name that would work with the first name(s).

A good general rule with last name matching is not to give both names the same number of syllables (it sounds funny if they have the same beat), and matching initials doesn't often work.


So for Blair, go for 2 or 3 syllable names, and Alice would work well with 3.


Blair is a Gaelic name, so if his name has any family meaning, then you might go that way for last names (lots of O's and Mac's).


Alice is more generic, so maybe her parents were making up for a complicated last name?
